For over seven years, I used LastPass for my password manager. While there were other excellent password manager applications, like 1Password and Dashlane, I needed support for Chromebook and multiple platforms.

LastPass was one of the first password managers to provide the support I needed.

And made it available in their free version.

I was such an advocate for LastPass, I promoted it in 3 password managers for Chromebook.

Eventually, Dashlane and 1Password added Chromebook support as well as other features.

But I didn’t feel the need to move to a different password manager. With hundreds of items in my LastPass account, I was happy with the features and support it offered.

Until August 2022, when LastPass announced a security incident.

How to Transfer a Sensitive Message or Secret Securely

When you work with technology, sometimes you need to share or manage private information.

And you want to make sure it’s shared securely.

Perhaps you had to test something quickly, but didn’t need to maintain the password.

Or, maybe you had a sensitive message, private link, or password you wanted to share with one person.

And since it’s temporary or a one-time thing, you don’t want to save in it your password manager.
