For WordPress folks interested in participating virtually, WordCamp Europe 2022 is offering a livestream of their event.

A brief blog post about the livestream was published on the WordCamp Europe website in mid-May 2022, but received little promotion online.

Which surprised me.

In the past, WordCamp Europe (WCEU) organizers heavily promoted their livestream options for people who couldn’t attend the event in person.

Following the tradition of past WordCamp US events, WordCamp US 2019 will have a free livestream available for people who aren’t able to attend the St. Louis, Missouri conference in person.

And it reminded me of when I helped set up WordPress multisite at Washtenaw Community College (WCC), where I worked as a web developer in the early 2010’s.
