First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth

After taking so many photos of other churches in the past few months, I realized I’ve taken few pictures of my own church, First Presbyterian Church of Plymouth.

Our family’s been a member of First Presbyterian for over ten years.

After being a member of Moravian and Methodist churches in the past, teaching Logos and Sunday School, Missions chairperson, and Administrative leader for the church, I was searching for a nearby church with a strong youth program for our son, who was in grade school at the time. One of my favorite nights of the year is Noel Night. Celebrated the first Saturday evening in December, the midtown area in Detroit is shutdown to celebrate the holidays with more than 200 performances and exhibits by choirs, musicians, and artists at museums, libraries, Wayne State University, businesses, and churches. I always seem to have other activities on Sunday afternoons that keep me from watching the Detroit Symphony Orchestra in person.
