This is my third post about alternative text for Buffer and Hootsuite.

And this time, I have great news to share!

Yesterday, Emily Plummer, engineer at Buffer, tweeted that the Buffer extension now supports alternative text for images.

Adding Alt Text to Twitter Images is officially rolled out for the Buffer Extension! 💕 Will be available in our Dashboard soon!

When I wrote about alternative text for images in Buffer and Hootsuite in November 2016, I shared good news about Buffer’s plans to move forward.

As well as not-so-good news about Hootsuite and their lack of any plan.
