I was thrilled to attend TEDxUofM 2014 Against The Grain, held at the Power Center on the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus.

Yesterday’s event had 1350 people attending, quite a difference from the inaugural event in 2010 where 350 people attended.

This weekend marks the tenth anniversary of the WinterBlast event in downtown Detroit, bringing musical acts, snow activities, ice skating, local marketplace, food, and fun for the family. We had a great time at the WinterBlast yesterday listening to local musician Jason Milan perform and checking out the snow slide and ice skating.
