When my smartphone crashed in January 2019, I quickly discovered the issues involved with having a two-factor authentication method that only sent info to an app on my smartphone.

Since my phone wasn’t working, I couldn’t access many accounts as well as WordPress websites where I depended on authentication from a mobile app.

A crisp cold fall morning had me wishing I brought some hot chocolate in a thermos with me for my morning birdwatching.

The temperature was less than 25 degrees Farenheit. There was a bit of a breeze over the water. I was thankful the sun was out.

I was dressed in my warm long down coat, winter boots, and warm gloves as I peered over the clear blue water.

The annual worldwide event brings together people from all walks of life to focus on a single objective: ensure that the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use.
