LinkedIn Learning Offers Free Courses on Remote Working and Virtual Communication Tools

The past few weeks have brought a lot of changes in the workplace. With the coronavirus pandemic, many employees are now working from home.

Teams are no longer in the same room or building to meet and discuss project plans. Employees can’t walk to the water cooler or break room to catch up on the latest company news.

Instead, employees and teams will embrace remote working.

Which can be a steep learning curve for many workers, when they’ve never worked remotely in the past.

Or have rarely used virtual communication tools.

I’ve heard from many people asking how they can quickly learn virtual communication tools, like Microsoft Teams and Zoom.

And how to best manage their time while working at home.

The Ross’s Goose is a rare bird to find in Michigan.

But that’s not what it seems like this year, as I’ve seen one in each of the first three months of 2020!

In three different counties. What a treat!

With its breeding grounds in the Arctic, the Ross’s Goose migrates through central Canada and through the central United States, west of the Mississippi River.

Seeing one this far east, near the Great Lakes, is pretty special.
