Accessibility Win: Hope Video About Detroit

When I read Julie Hind’s tweet yesterday about a new inspirational short video about Detroit, I quickly selected the link.

Some background: I live in metro Detroit, but many of my activities, friends, and clients are in the city.

Our Metro Detroit WordPress and Refresh Detroit meetup events are held in the city.

And before the COVID-19 outbreak, I was birdwatching in Detroit several times a month.

Detroit has been hit hard by COVID-19, with a high number of cases and deaths.

Each day I read heartbreaking stories about the individuals and families whose loved ones have died from COVID-19 in our area.

Honoring the 50th Anniversary of the Kent State Massacre

Hard to believe it’s been 50 years.

On May 4, 1970, Ohio National Guardsmen opened fire on unarmed students at Kent State University.
