A product manager for California’s office of digital innovation, product marketing manager at Microsoft, and a content designer at Upwork are among the speakers at UX Camp Spring Home Edition.
A full day of user experience presentations returns May 21, 2022 for a multi-track mini-conference.
The event will be held online, providing an excellent opportunity for everyone to attend, no matter where they live.
If you’re a user experience professional, student, or someone interested in learning about user experience, it’s an event you don’t want to miss.
UX Camp Spring Home Edition
Hosted by Chicago Camps, UX Camp Spring Home Edition features two keynotes and up to 12 presentations.
While the schedule is still being updated (as of May 2, 2022), here’s a partial list of presentations and speakers:
- Product Management for UX People by Christian Crumlish
- Don’t Fear the Spreadsheet: A Guide to Content Audits for Product Teams by Emily Wachowiak
- Set Up Boundaries as a Design Leader by Juan Wang
- Breaking into Tech with a Non-Traditional Background or Degree by Eleenah Ansari
- Good Intentions & Bad Actors by Lisa deBettencourt
Register online; cost is $15 (U.S. dollars).
In addition to a great day of UX learning, what I love about UX Camp Spring Home Edition is their Pay It Forward Ticket Passes.
You have the opportunity to purchase passes for people who need them for $10 (U.S. dollars).
Wrapping Up
While some event organizers are starting to transition to in-person events, I’m glad there are many, like Chicago Camps, who are holding online events.
Which brings their UX mini-conference to a larger community, allowing more people to attend, whether they live far away or can’t afford the conference cost.
I’ve purchased my UX Camp Spring Home Edition ticket and I’m looking forward to a great day of user experience learning.
Won’t you join me?
