TEDxDetroit Is Back for Eighth Year

One of my favorite events celebrating the positive ideas coming out of Detroit returns for the eighth year to the historic Fox Theater.

TEDxDetroit, the one-day conference focused on the inspirational work of our local creators, designers, makers, artists, entrepreneurs, and geeks, will be held October 6, 2016.

TEDx events are locally produced independent community events, highlighting Detroit speakers and organizations doing amazing creative work in technology, entertainment, and design.

Why I Attend TEDx Events

Over the past eight years, I’ve attended almost two dozen TEDx events in Michigan, including events in Ann Arbor, Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Ypsilanti.

What I love about their events are the personal stories I hear from the speakers. And the conversations about what’s happening in Detroit. They always inspire me!

I can’t wait to find out who the speakers are this year; I understand speakers will be announced this week.
