TEDxDetroit 2011

Last Wednesday, I attended my second TEDxDetroit event, my sixth TEDx event in Michigan.

Along with about 1,500 people, I enjoyed an amazing day learning about the creative and inspiring people in the metro Detroit area and their incredible work to educate, create, and move forward positive ideas.TEDxDetroit 2011

From nonprofits to academic institutions to individuals to small companies, I heard stories of hope and overcoming tremendous odds from thinkers and doers.

And managed to chat with many fellow Detroit creators who I usually only see on the interwebs.

  1. Great pics, Deborah. I like the one of the auditorium showing the crowded attendance. Really a great turnout and lots of inspiring people — both presenters and attendees.
