Imagine you log into your WordPress site and notice in the dashboard that you have a plugin update notification.

You know it’s important to always stay current with the latest version. So you select the “update” link for the plugin.

Only to see the new update has caused issues on your site.

Yikes!

Jetpack Plugin: What Modules are Enabled by Default

As co-organizer of the Metro Detroit WordPress meetup, I often get asked WordPress questions outside of our monthly meetups.

This week, one of our members sent me a message, asking about the Jetpack plugin.

They wanted to know which modules are enabled by default when Jetpack is installed.

I didn’t know. But I was curious to find out.

While I use Jetpack regularly on client sites, I enable/disable modules based on the needs of my client.

Sure, I could set up a new WordPress install and add Jetpack to it to find out which modules are enabled.

But I thought the answer would be easy to find online. So I visited the Jetpack website to search for the answer.
