One of my favorite nights of the year is Noel Night. Celebrated the first Saturday evening in December, the midtown area in Detroit is shutdown to celebrate the holidays with more than 200 performances and exhibits by choirs, musicians, and artists at museums, libraries, Wayne State University, businesses, and churches. Photo of the Week: Hiking Leeann Park

With last week’s below zero wind chill temperatures and yesterday’s icy rain, I was glad to finally get outside and do some birding and hiking in our neighborhood park.
