While spring officially started on March 20, almost two weeks ago, you wouldn’t know it by the weather in southeast Michigan this weekend.

Last night’s cold front brought frigid temperatures and snow flurries, which left a dusting of snow over everything.

Including the Alpheus Starkey Williams statue in the middle of Belle Isle State Park in Detroit, Michigan.

Photo of the Week: Michigan Central Station Winter Fest 2019

With winter finally arriving in southeast Michigan this weekend with snow and cold temperatures, it was the right weekend for me to enjoy the inaugural Michigan Central Station Winter Festival, a new winter event hosted by Ford Motor Company in Detroit, Michigan.

The free ten-day festival is open to the public, offering music, games, art, food trucks, ice carving, retail shops, and a fantastic 3-D light show that displays on the front of the building at night. Continue reading Photo of the Week: Michigan Central Station Winter Fest 2019
