The great looking red 1922 Ford Model T fire truck was one of the first vehicles I saw this morning when I stopped in at the seventh annual Cruisin’ Hines cruise.

It’s bittersweet when the car cruise takes over Edward Hines Drive in Westland, Michigan.

Photo of the Week: 2017 Great Race Rally Race in Ypsilanti, Michigan

A sunny Thursday summer evening usually finds me birdwatching at a nearby marsh or park.

But not last Thursday when I found myself parking my car on Cross Street in Depot Town and joining hundreds of people gathered to look at classic cars.

“Do you know anything about the race?” I asked the woman behind me as I walked down the sidewalk in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Last year on Father’s Day, I wrote about the beautiful turquoise blue 1955 Chevy Bel Air sedan I saw at the America’s Most Wanted Car Show at the 2015 Canton Liberty Festival.
