What a treat it was yesterday to enjoy the coolness in the air after the summer rain showers.
You could almost hear the sighs of relief from people in my hometown of Canton, Michigan.
Like much of Michigan, our area is in a stage of drought. We’ve had little rain over the past two months.
My mom would have described the showers as raining cats and dogs.
Yesterday’s brief but heavy rain was something to celebrate. My vegetable garden certainly welcomed the showers.
And what followed made it even better.
Rainbows! Not one rainbow, but a double rainbow.
