Photo of the Week: Plymouth Art in the Park

Much to the delight of people in our community, the annual Plymouth Art in the Park in downtown Plymouth, Michigan returned this weekend after a one-year hiatus (due to the COVID pandemic).

The three-day art fair is a popular event in our area, bringing over 400 artists from around the country to what is promoted as Michigan’s second largest art fair (the Ann Arbor Art Fair is the largest).

In the past, I would meander through the fair, looking at all the beautiful works and enjoy the entertainment while I ate lunch from one of the vendors.

Not this year.

Though it seemed the fair was as crowded as ever with people, given the pandemic and today’s rain, I spent little time in downtown Plymouth.

I stopped to see the chalk drawing near Kellogg Park, looked at some of the booths on Penniman, but left the fair early.
