On This Day: September 10

Another post in my On This Day series, as I take a trip back in time (since 2009) to read posts I published on September 10:

  • 2023: Photo of the Week: Red Eyed Vireo highlighting a bird I often hear calling from the nature center parking lot at Oakwoods Metropark. Soon it will be migrating south to spend its winter in South America.
  • 2021: September 10, 2021: Weekly Roundup of Web Design and Development News
  • 2018: Learn Secret Gutenberg Tips on September 14: YouTube Live talk and Q & A session hosted by my WordPress colleague Birgit Pauli-Haack
  • 2017: Photo of the Week: Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens: After attending WordCamp Pittsburgh 2017, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to visit the nearby conservatory and see the Super Natural Night Lights exhibit that was open til 11:00 PM.
  • 2015: Takeaways from Accessibility Summit 2015 Day 2: My key takeaways from one of the many virtual events organized by Environments for Humans and hosted at the University of Michigan (UM). Along with my friend Scott Williams at UM, I helped co-organize and find sponsors for over half dozen meeting rooms of the virtual events over the years, open to the public to attend.
  • 2014: Joining Internet Slowdown Day: I joined millions of other Americans for the day to encourage people in the United States to contact the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), Congress, and the White House to demand stronger net neutrality rules.
