Mystery Wall in Detroit: Chrysler Eminem Superbowl Commercial

It took several viewings of the Chrysler Eminem Superbowl: Imported from Detroit commercial this week before I realized one of the shots in the commercial looked familar.

Really familiar.

I asked my husband to look too. He said, “Yes, that looks like a shot you took recently. I know exactly where you took that photo.”

I scanned my daily photos. And found it.

And here’s my photo cropped to look similar to the shot in the commercial, at the 16 second mark:

Do you know where the wall is? Post your guess in the comments and I’ll confirm if it’s correct.

  1. I can see the David Stott in the background…and also the people mover rail. I am going to guess this is north of the Stott, not far from grand circus people mover stop…on Adams street? (or possibly Bagley?)

  2. Good detective work Rebecca! It is on Adams Street, a couple doors down from Rubs BBQ, one of my favorite restaurants for barbecue. My friends Nick and Jessica figured it too – next time I’ll have to make the mystery shot more challenging!
