Ignite UX Michigan returns September 15, 2015 for a third year of five-minute talks covering a wide range of user experience topics.
The event will be held at Live in downtown Ann Arbor (map and directions). Networking begins at 6:00pm with talks kicking off at 7:00pm.
Hosted by Ignite UX Michigan coordinators Mike Beasley and Whitney Ferdon, the evening features talks from 12 local user experience professionals.
At the past two Ignite UX Michigan events, it’s been a packed crowd, with over 140 people attending. This year’s event moves to a new venue in Ann Arbor.
Earlier today, I chatted with Mike about the event:
We’ve got another great lineup of speakers this year and we’re excited to try our new venue. Attendance was huge the first two years and we’ve looked hard for a venue to accommodate everyone.
Thanks to the generous sponsorship from:

Ignite UX Michigan is free and open to the public. No pre-registration is required. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available.
I’ve attended Ignite UX Michigan for the past two years.
If you’re a user experience professional, student, or someone interested in learning about user experience, it’s an event you don’t want to miss. Inspiring talks, networking, and an opportunity to catch up with fellow UX professionals.
What is an Ignite Event?
Ignite events follow a presentation format where speakers are limited to five-minute talks. Speakers use 20 slides, which are automatically advanced every 15 seconds.
It makes for a quick talk; speakers need to be concise. You’ll hear amazing stories of success and failure at Ignite talks. Learn more about Ignite.
