This Thursday, November 10, 2022 marks the 18th year of World Usability Day (WUD).
The annual worldwide event brings together people from all walks of life to focus on a single objective: make sure the services and products important to life are easier to access and simpler to use.
No one should struggle with products and services that don’t work well or technology that gets in the way of getting things done.
This year’s theme for World Usability Day: Our Health.
You don’t have to be working in the user experience or design field to attend World Usability Day events, events are open to the public.
And you have a wide range of events:
- In-person public events
- Online events
- Virtual networking events
will be held around the world as people discuss, celebrate, and learn about usability as it relates to our health.
You can find a list of all 2022 World Usability Day events on their website.
Given the pandemic, many events are virtual. Which means everyone can attend an event.

I’ve researched the virtual events (some include an in-person format as well); here are some of my favorites.

Summary
Join people around the world on November 10, 2022 for World Usability Day to listen and discuss how we can make healthcare usable by everyone.
The three events I highlighted are only a few of the activities happening that day.
I plan to attend several of the World Usability Day Cleveland events that day, which event do you plan to participate in?
