Online surveys are a quick and cost-effective way to get all kinds of user feedback.

And with the rise of free and inexpensive tools like SurveyMonkey, Wufoo, and Google Forms, it’s easy to quickly create an online survey.

But if you don’t design your online survey well—asking the right questions, making sure the questions are easy to understand, and keeping your audience in mind when writing your questions—you may not get the feedback you’re after.
