For the past several years, I do my best to visit the Peony Garden at Nichols Arboretum on the campus of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor to see the blooming historic peonies.

I was on my way home from visiting the Peony Garden at the University of Michigan Nichols Arboretum this weekend when I decided to stop at Gallup Park.
It’s been a couple months since I last visited Gallup, and I wanted to see waterbirds on the Huron River.

I remember when I first visited Detroit’s historic Fox Theatre in 1989, after it had been restored.
My friends and I were going to watch the film “Lawrence of Arabia.”
