Three Tips to Improve the Accessibility on Your Website

Yesterday I had the pleasure of speaking at our Metro Detroit WordPress group about how to improve accessibility on your website. Creating an accessible website allows everyone, no matter their application, software, hardware or other capabilities, to use your site.

The presentation shared easy steps people can apply immediately on their website to make it more accessible.

The most conversation after the presentation centered around the video I included of former National Football League player Steve Gleason using the eye tracking technology in Microsoft Surface to communicate, use applications, and access the Internet.

Unfortunately, the video is no longer available. However, there’s reference to how Gleason uses Tobii Mobile Eye in the Microsoft Superbowl 2014 video.
