If you’ve been looking to improve your knowledge of WordPress, but haven’t been able to attend your local Meetup group or nearby WordCamp, reserve some time in front of your computer or digital device this weekend.
That’s when the third WordSesh returns with 24 hours of free online presentations that will be livestreamed.
Think of it as a virtual WordCamp, where you’ll learn about WordPress and can interact with attendees and speakers on chat and Twitter.
Organized by Scott Basgaard and sponsored by Siteground and WPSessions, this year’s WordSesh is a single-track event with WordPress experts from around the world sharing their expertise and tips on design, plugins, theme reviews, business, and more.
Event Date and Registration
The event kicks off December 20, 2014 at 0:00 UTC (that’s 7:00pm Eastern Standard Time, or 4:00pm Pacific Time), with each presentation beginning on the hour.
If you’re not sure when WordSesh begins for you, here’s a handy site for finding the time in your area.
WordSesh is free, but you want to register to attend. As of 10:00am EST this morning, more than 600 people had signed up.
I’ve attended the two previous WordSesh events (view WordSesh 1 or WordSesh 2) and recommend them for any WordPress user, designer, or developer.
Where else can you get 24 hours of free livestreamed WordPress knowledge in the comfort of your own home?
Check the schedule to learn who’s speaking and the sessions you want to attend. Note there are several roundtables this year on plugins, community, themes, business, and news.
This year’s WordSesh speakers include:
- Jeff Chandler
- Michelle Schulp
- Barry Kooij
- Dee Teal
- Chris Lema
- Lisa Sabin-Wilson, and others
Hope to see you online for WordSesh! Find me on Twitter @redcrew for several of the sessions.
