Thanks to photos from Perseverance Mars Robot, NASA and space fans around the world were able to bid a final farewell to Ingenuity, the NASA’s Mars helicopter that was originally designed to perform five test flights over 30 days.
Ingenuity’s mission lasted over 1,000 Martian days:
more than 33 times longer than originally planned, Ingenuity was upgraded with the ability to autonomously choose landing sites in treacherous terrain, and proved itself resilient having dealt with a dead sensor, cleaned itself after dust storms, operated from 48 different airfields, performed three emergency landings, and survived a frigid Martian winter.

Always a treat to share stories about local Michigan businesses! For musicians across the country, independent music store Elderly Instruments in Lansing is the go-to place for trying out instruments, buying/selling vintage and used instruments, repairs, and talking with other musicians.
Celebrating 52 years in business, Elderly Instruments was named the top small business by the US Chamber of Commerce in late 2023.

Are you a fan of pinball? Check out the Pinball Map to find a local place to play pinball.
I didn’t realize there were almost two dozen places within 15 miles of my community. Including two places in my community.
The map is user-generated; you can create an account and add and remove machines.
The pinball machine photo, named “Roanoke, Virginia” by ssfaulkn is marked with Public Domain Mark 1.0.
