We all use different tools that make it easier to get our jobs done, whether it’s creating a website or communicating online with clients and colleagues.
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to share those tools and tips with others?
And pick up a few new ones for yourself?
That’s what you can do at our West Metro Detroit WordPress meetup on Tuesday, September 18, 2018, a casual get-together to share our favorite productivity tools and tips.
Here’s an opportunity for our members to share a tip or tool that speeds up getting their work done.
Maybe it’s a free online graphic editor that allows you to quickly create flyers, posters, and social media images.
Or it could be a tip for searching for a file on Google Drive.
What about that new WordPress plugin you discovered last month that’s saved you hours of work?
I’ve held these kinds of “sharing your favorite productivity tip” meetups in the past for other groups.
Everyone walks away smiling and chatting with each other about the new tool they’re going to try out in the next week.
You may think that tool/application you’ve been using for years is something everyone knows about.
Trust me, someone in the group will be grateful you’re talking about it!
Because they’ve never used it or heard of it. And it solves a troublesome issue they’ve tried to resolve for a long time.
Share Your Favorite Productivity Tool or Tip
Whether you’re a designer, writer, business owner, developer, project manager, or digital marketer, you can always use productivity tips to keep your work and life running smoothly.
Let’s share those tips and tools with each other!
For our September 18th meetup, we plan to have four speakers share their productivity tips or tools. Each speaker will have up to 10 minutes to demo or explain their tip or tool.
No formal presentation is required, though if any of our members want to create a quick slide deck, they’re welcome to.
As of August 28, 2018, we have one speaker (me!) giving an Introduction to Canva. We’re still looking for three other speakers to present.

Meetup Information and Registration
The meetup is Tuesday, September 28, 2018 from 6:30pm to 8:00pm; pre-registration is required.
We’ll meet at the Grand Traverse Pie in Plymouth, Michigan (directions and map).
The meetup is free, but pre-registration is required. (It’s the only way you’ll get follow-up message and notes.)
