Veteran’s Day in the United States is a day to honor all the men and women who served our country in the armed forces.
Celebrations are taking place today, many also were held over the past weekend, to pay tribute to our armed service veterans.
Thank you to everyone who have served so bravely and courageously for our country.
I researched, but couldn’t find any announcement or news of this year’s Veteran’s Day Moment of Silence Act.
Passed by the U.S. Congress in 2016, the Veteran’s Day Moment of Silence Act is a nationwide observance of two minutes of silence every Veteran’s Day.
At 2:11pm local time, all Americans are encouraged to join in two minutes of silence.
I’ll be pausing my work for two minutes this afternoon to honor our United States veterans.
How are you planning to honor Veteran’s Day today?
