Thanksgiving Day Lettuce

It’s Thanksgiving evening. The golden brown roasted turkey has been cut up, wishbone pulled, partially eaten, and the remains are nestled in a Tupperware container in the refrigerator. The black and green olives are gone, but there’s plenty of homemade cranberry sauce and leftover tossed green salad.
