Spring is finally here in southeast Michigan! The upcoming week of weather has temperatures in the 50’s, 60’s, and potentially 70’s. And my Bradford Pear in the front yard is ready to burst its buds. Usually I head to the University of Michigan Nichols Arboretum in early May to catch the spring migration of birds, before the trees leaf out.

With warm temperatures in the 60’s three days ago, yesterday’s morning snow melted quickly.
