Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore along the southern shore of Lake Superior in the Upper Peninsula is one of the most beautiful places to visit in Michigan.

A few dedicated sun worshippers were on the beach when I took this shot of Marquette Harbor Lighthouse in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula on the southern shore of Lake Superior.

Lafayette Greens is a hidden oasis in downtown Detroit.

You might miss it if your destination on Lafayette is one of two of Detroit’s best-known landmarks, American Coney Island and Lafayette Coney Island.
