When I was a young child, one of our family traditions was to visit the downtown Detroit J.L. Hudson’s department store to see their holiday windows on Woodward Avenue.

The windows were decorated with Christmas themes, toys, gifts, and figures dressed up for the holidays.

Photo of the Week: 18th Century Garden in Philadelphia

You might not notice the garden as you walk east on Walnut Street toward the riverfront in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Photo of the Week: Morning Glory Pool at Philadelphia Flower Show

Last week, I enjoyed visiting the Philadelphia Flower Show for the first time.

I shared some of my favorite photos of flowers and plants as well as several shots from the Yellowstone National Park exhibit.
