It’s not that Kirtland’s Warblers are shy birds that makes them a bird every birdwatcher wants to add to their life list.

Kirtland’s Warblers are one of the most vocal birds in the spring and are often seen singing on a top, outside branch of a tree or shrub.

Photo of the Week: 2017 Plymouth Ice Festival

While ooohing and aahing over the gorgeous ice sculptures created by ice carvers and local culinary arts college students, like this stunning dog ice sculpture, is my typical way of enjoying the Plymouth Ice Festival, this year the festival had an added feature: interactive games at the children’s ice playground.

“Whoa! I won 100 points,” shouted the grinning young child bundled up in a winter snowsuit next to me.

Photo of the Week: Chrysanthemums and More!
