For over 10 years, I published weekly web design and development roundup blog posts with a section titled “What I Found Interesting.”

It’s where I shared a collection of fascinating stories and resources that caught my attention that week. 

Once I retired in December 2022, I stopped publishing my weekly roundup.

But I missed sharing fun and interesting stories as well as helpful resources.

So I’m bringing back the “What I Found Interesting” section as a regular blog post.

How to Watch State of the Word 2022

For WordPress users, designers, and developers, the annual State of the Word keynote address by WordPress co-founder Matt Mullenweg is a not-to-be-missed event.

State of the Word is when Mullenweg:

  • Highlights WordPress accomplishments over the past year
  • Discusses what WordPress users can expect in the future
  • Answers questions from WordPress users

This year’s State of the Word is a hybrid event, with an in-person audience in New York City as well as livestream.

(I’ve been a fan of the State of the Word events for years, watching in person at the WordCamp US 2015 and 2016 conferences in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.)
