Happy anniversary, Plymouth Ice Festival!

Returning to Kellogg Park and downtown Plymouth, Michigan, the annual ice festival returned this weekend with dozens of ice sculptures to check out as you stroll the sidewalks and streets.

While this year’s event won’t have live ice carvings (due to COVID restrictions), there are a lot of beautiful sculptures of animals, butterflies, vehicles, dogs, etc. that were carved off site and delivered throughout the downtown area.

Imagine the temperature is ten degrees Farenheit. Snow covers the ground and the wind chill brings the temperature to less than zero degrees on a January night.

That’s cold. Even for Michigan.
