Hard to believe it’s been over a year since I last visited Frederick Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park, commonly called Meijer Gardens, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

In spring 2015, my family and I enjoyed a lovely Mother’s Day in the conservatory and Victorian garden. And I said I would be back in summer 2015 to see the newly-opened Japanese garden.

Labor Day weekend marks the end of summer and the beginning of the school year in my community. I’m thankful for the cooler weather this week and I know my summer flowers won’t last long before the fall flowers start blooming. Here’s a few more shots of flowers from the garden.

Whenever I attend WordCamps, local WordPress conferences, I always find time to visit the local arboretum or botanical gardens in the city where the WordCamp is held.
