Photo of the Week: Denver Botanic Gardens

While I was in Denver, Colorado for WordCamp Denver 2018 last weekend, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to visit the Denver Botanic Gardens on the east side of Denver.

With over 23 acres, the Denver Botanic Gardens has 43 unique gardens.

Wish I could have made it to all of them!

Photo of the Week: Moose Near Aspen, Colorado

Last week, as my vehicle approached one of the last curves in the road on the outskirts of Aspen, Colorado on the way back from Independence Pass, I saw several large dark brown shapes near the creek that bordered the road.

Wait, what were those?

They were too large and too dark to be deer. And their antlers were huge, almost black.
