State of the Word 2023

State of the Word, the annual keynote address from WordPress co-founder Matt Mullenweg, is scheduled for December 11, 2023.

The free livestream keynote address is for everyone who uses WordPress, including bloggers, writers, photographers, designers, developers, and managers.

Though I’m no longer involved in client work using WordPress, my website runs on WordPress and I always learn something new from the keynote.

What to Know about State of the Word 2023

Mullenweg will highlight WordPress accomplishments and progress over the past year as well as discuss what to expect in the future.

In addition, he’ll answer questions from WordPress users.

This year’s State of the Word will be held in Madrid, Spain, the first time the address will be held outside of North America. In-person tickets are no longer available.

State of the Word will be livestreamed December 11, 2023 at 15:00 UTC, which is 3PM Eastern Time Zone.
