RIP Leonard Nimoy

When I was in college, one of my favorite things to do in the evening was to watch the original episodes of Star Trek with my friends.

I wasn’t an avid Trekkie, but loved watching the show with people who memorized the dialog and would point out details about each scene.

And when the Star Trek movies came out, I was one of the fans who saw the movies the first week they came to our local theaters.

Like others who followed the Star Trek show and movies, I was sad to hear the news yesterday that Leonard Nimoy died at the age of 83. He will be missed. Live long and prosper.
