Photo of the Week: Tufted Titmouse

Tufted titmouse feeding from hand

Hiking and bird watching in Kensington Metro Park in Milford, Michigan is one of my favorite things to do in the winter.

With no leaves on the trees and few birds overwintering in Michigan, it’s a lot easier to spot and identify the birds.

This Tufted Titmouse (and his friend trying to fly in behind him) had no qualms about snagging some sunflower seeds from my husband’s outstretched hand as we hiked through the woods last week.
