One of our favorite places in winter at dusk also happens to be where we regularly see Short-eared Owls hunting over cornfields.
Either way, if we see the owls or we experience an incredible sunset, we figure we’ve had a good evening.
This sunset happened to be the same evening we saw five Short-Eared Owls.
Win-win!
The owls will be migrating soon; I’m glad we’ve had several good looks at them this winter.
