Photo of the Week: Spring is Here! Bradford Pear Buds

Spring is finally here in southeast Michigan! The upcoming week of weather has temperatures in the 50’s, 60’s, and potentially 70’s.

And my Bradford Pear in the front yard is ready to burst its buds. I took this photo this morning, just after the sun came up. Can’t wait to see the flowers in bloom soon!

I am SO ready for spring and to be able to have the windows and doors open every day! I just hope we have a nice LONG spring before we get into hot sticky weather that messes with my heart and lungs…

This weekend seemed to kick off spring for us! How about you? Did you have warm weather? Here, there were many people outside bicycling and walking as I spent the two days birdwatching!
