Last week’s seven-inch snowfall in southeast Michigan brought a heavy layer of snow to our neighborhood.
The kind of snow you want to get shoveling early, while it’s still falling.
Because if you wait until it stops snowing, the snow it so heavy you can barely pick it up with a shovel. Though it’s perfect for making snowmen and snowforts!
With the snow came icicles and some gorgeous-looking snow covered trees.
And something I never noticed on my fence before: clumps of snow attached to the chain link fence in such a way they looked like snow puffs to me.
At least, that’s what I’m calling them.
By mid-afternoon the next day, the snow puffs had melted away.
