Photo of the Week: Snow-covered Teasel

Often seen along the roadsides in Michigan as well as open fields, teasel takes on a different look in winter after a snowfall.

The snow-covered flower heads of the almost seven-foot tall Cut-leaf Teasel look like cotton balls to me.
