Photo of the Week: Pointe Mouillee State Game Area Headquarters Birds Wood Sculpture

We’ve not sure when this wood sculpture was completed, but I believe it was sometime in the past year.

We remember the large shade tree in front of the Pointe Mouillee State Game Area headquarters in southern Wayne County, Michigan that preceded this beautiful wood birds sculpture.

Sadly, there’s no information plaque near the wood carving sculpture. And I couldn’t find any information on the state game area page on the Michigan Department of Natural Resources website.

If you’re in the area and are familiar with the wood carving sculpture and who created it, I’d love to know more!
