It’s that time of year again!
Time for the annual outdoor Plymouth Ice Festival in downtown Plymouth, Michigan, where local ice sculptors and community college student teams create beautiful ice sculptures from blocks of ice.
As someone who loves to see ice sculptures in winter, I’m grateful for our cold weather this weekend.
(We’ve had a few years where temperatures in the 40’s have melted the sculptures before the end of the local festival.)
I took a walk through downtown Plymouth in early morning, avoided the crowds, and enjoyed seeing the sculptures with about a dozen other folks braving the “feels like” 10 degrees Fahrenheit weather.
