Hairpin turns, the loss of GPS, and mule deer along the road were fun distractions as we kept an eye out for the small road signs directing us up to the top of Lookout Mountain.
Taking the winding roads to the mountain on the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains near Golden, Colorado was an adventure!
When we reached the top, we parked the car, and wondered across the road to the trail across from the gate.
And as you can tell, the view was worth it!
Breathtaking.
