When the sun shines through the stained glass windows at Historic Trinity Lutheran Church near Eastern Market in Detroit, Michigan, the walls almost seem to glow from the sunlight.
This morning, I attended service at the church to hear the special cantata sung by their choir for the first Sunday of Advent.
Beautiful music, impressive stained glass and architecture, and lovely congregation members who made me feel welcome.
