The Chadwick Arboretum is one of my favorite places to visit when I’m in Columbus, Ohio.
If you’ve never seen it, it’s easy to find on the Ohio State University campus, along Lane Avenue near the Schottenstien Center.
I love walking through the arboretum, seeing native Ohio plants I rarely see in southeastern Michigan, and learning new evergreen species I had not heard of before. My degree is in botany, so I’m always on the lookout for a garden or arboretum to visit when I travel.
When you visit, be on the lookout for Anabelle, the 15-foot lime-green praying mantis sculpture.
As usual, the Chadwick Arboretum didn’t disappoint. A lovely way to end my time in Columbus before I headed home from WordCamp Columbus this weekend.
