Photo of the Week: Autumn Leaves

Today’s gray, rainy day in southeast Michigan might typically have people in low spirits.

But our area has been without rain for almost two weeks.

With much of Michigan in drought conditions this month, the precipitation is much wanted and needed.

Put me in good spirits to hear rain on our rooftop this morning!

And brought back good memories of the beautiful gold, orange, and red colors seen yesterday on sugar maple, shagbark hickory, and black walnut trees as we drove dirt backroads in our area.
